Cedar Lee Bikes is committed to helping everyone we meet have more fun on bikes. Whether you’re looking for something new or refreshing an old friend, we’ve got you covered with years of experience wrenching and riding anything on wheels.

Matt Jaffe | Owner, Sales, Service, etc.

Matt started working on bikes at age 6 when he took off his training wheels so he could have a decent ride. He has 12 years of professional shop experience and 18 years in management and business analytics. Owning a shop has been his dream since he first got paid to fix bikes as a teenager. When he doesn’t have a wrench in his hand, he’s out riding. Or maybe check the other hand.

Beth Jaffe | Co-Owner, Social Media

Beth can be spotted riding her ’59 Schwinn Hornet around town anytime the sun is out.

Joe Coburn | Service Manager

Joe spent the early part of his career in the legal profession, including a very respectable stint with the Public Defender. Recognizing the error of his ways, he went out to Oregon to get top notch training as a bike mechanic. Fast forward a few years and we’re lucky enough to have him helping customers and leading the service team.

Ian Calkins | Service

Ian is a classically trained pastry chef, and a heck of a bike mechanic. A Cleveland Heights transplant, you’ll see him around the neighborhood even when he’s not fixing your bike.

Chris Vandall | Service

Chris has several years of local shop experience, along with a degree in music education. During the school year, he’s likely teaching your kids percussion.

Cormac Benard | Apprentice

Cormac came to us through the Shaker Heights High School Bike Repair Club. He has learned a ton since he started with us, and is becoming a very capable mechanic and sales associate. He is a dedicated cycle commuter, and plans to live car-free even when he gets his license. He also competes in Fencing tournaments when he’s not riding or wrenching.

Voodoo | Shop Cat

Voodoo showed up on the porch one day looking for soul food and a place to eat. He’s been around ever since, greeting guests, truing wheels, and chasing anything that drops on the floor.
